This policy explains what information Attitude Aviation Uganda collects when you visit this website, why we collect it, and the choices you have. Attitude Aviation Uganda is an IATA Authorized Training Center (UG-AAU-01-23-001) based at Plot 34 Kiwafu Close, Entebbe, Uganda (P.O. Box 247, Entebbe, Uganda). If anything here is unclear, write to us at info@attitudeaviationug.comand we'll explain.
This website, attitude-aviation-portal.vercel.app, is operated by Attitude Aviation Uganda, the organisation behind our Entebbe training centre, our pilot shop, our consultancy services and our aviation blog. We are the data controller for the information described below.
When you fill in a registration or enquiry form, we ask for details such as your name, phone number, email address, and the program or service you're interested in — only what we need to process an application or respond to a request. If you opt in to WhatsApp updates, we keep the number you gave us so we can message you there instead of, or alongside, email. We do not ask for payment card details through this site.
Separately, the site itself collects some technical information automatically: your browser type, approximate location (derived from IP address), pages viewed, and how you arrived here. This is gathered through cookies and similar technologies, including those used for basic analytics and — as explained below — advertising.
This site displays advertising served by Google and its advertising partners. Google and these third-party vendors use cookies — including the DoubleClick DART cookie — to serve ads based on a visitor's prior visits to this website and other sites across the internet. These cookies allow Google and its partners to show ads that may be more relevant to you, and to measure how those ads perform.
We do not control the cookies Google sets, and we don't see the data they collect for ad personalization. If you'd prefer not to receive personalized advertising, you can review and adjust your preferences at Google Ads Settings. You can also read Google's own explanation of how advertising cookies and technologies work at policies.google.com/technologies/ads. Some browsers let you block third-party cookies entirely, which will stop personalized ads from Google and other networks, though you may still see non-personalized ads.
Information you submit through a registration, enquiry, or service-request form is used to process that application, respond to your questions, and — where you've agreed — follow up about programs, intake dates, or promotions relevant to what you asked about. Technical and cookie data helps us understand how the site is used so we can improve it, and, through AdSense, supports the advertising that helps keep this site free to browse.
We don't sell your personal data. We share information only with service providers who help us run the site (such as email or hosting providers) and, where you've engaged with an ad, with Google as described above. Our pages sometimes link out to third-party sites — social media, payment channels, or partner organisations — and once you leave attitude-aviation-portal.vercel.app, that site's own privacy policy applies, not ours.
This site is intended for adults and young adults researching aviation careers and training, and it is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.
As a Uganda-based organisation, we handle personal data in line with the Data Protection and Privacy Act, 2019. You have the right to ask what personal data we hold about you, to request that we correct inaccurate information, and to ask us to delete data we no longer have a valid reason to keep. To exercise any of these rights, email info@attitudeaviationug.comand we'll respond within a reasonable time. If you believe we've mishandled your data, you may also lodge a complaint with Uganda's National Personal Data Protection Office.
We may update this policy from time to time as our services, or the rules around them, change. The “last updated” date at the top of this page will always reflect the most recent revision.
Questions about this policy or about your data can be sent to info@attitudeaviationug.com, or by post to Attitude Aviation Uganda, Plot 34 Kiwafu Close, Entebbe, Uganda, P.O. Box 247, Entebbe, Uganda. See our contact page for phone and WhatsApp details.
